.DRESS CODE.
Hey Team!
As the trip gets closer I know that you will all be trying to decide what to pack for the trip and so I just wanted to remind you of the dress code guidelines before you make any decisions on packing…..
-NO tight or sleeveless clothing.
-Shorts, if allowed to be worn at all, must always come down to the knee.
-Girls: skirts and dresses must come down to your ankles for many locations.
– Guys: there will be times when jeans will not be appropriate for the ministry you will be doing. Make sure to have pants (khkis, etc.) other than jeans.
– Swimsuits, if worn at all, must be modest. Girls need to wear shorts with their one-pieces. Two piece bathing suits are not allowed.
-Guys: trunks only.
– Sleepwear must also meet dress code standards if the team is in an area where there is little privacy in sleeping areas.
– There may be times when you are not alowed to wear open toed shoes, depending on where your group is working or ministering. This is for your safety.
-Girls: bring a pair of flats or tennis shoes that you could wear with a skirt in these instances.
– In general, clothing should be neat. No rips, holes, or obvious stains, except for specific “work-days.”
Please be ready for anything and please honor these rules. We want to honor the Lord in everything we do, while representing Him and by abiding by these guidelines we are keeping ourself to an image of Christ for any people culture. Thank you for understanding!
