Dear Lord,

Would You make our team one, just as You and the Father are one? Would You pull our hearts towards the things of Your heart? Would You push away the enemy when he starts fighting us? And let our team fight as a solid army of God.

Would You not only unite us, but also keep us united in You. Let us be rooted in humbleness and let us pull towards humble obedience. Would this keep us together? Please give us ups and downs at different times so we can support each other better.

Just like the first church made decisions in unity, please help us do the same. Help us love each other the way that You love us. Lord, Your love crosses the great divide. If it can unity You and us, I know our team can be united through it.

Bring us together so we can function as one body.  Help us constantly look to You for our everything.
